Content Specific Requirements: All Alabama Controlled Substance Certificate (ACSC) holders must complete 2 AMA Category 1 CME hours every 2 years in the area of controlled substance prescribing practices, recognizing signs of the abuse or misuse of controlled substances, or controlled substance prescribing for chronic pain.
